چکیده
Background: To compare and evaluate the amount of apically extruded debris using root canal instrumentation. Materials methods: A total 15 mandibular first premolars were enrolled. They divided into 3 groups (n = 5 teeth/group). The canals instrumented according to manufacturers’ instructions Reciprocating single-file system Wave One™ full-sequence rotary Hyflex CM™ ProTaper™ instruments. p- value less than 0.05 was considered significant. Results: mean weight in One (0.0075 g) more when compared with (0.0020 g). Pro Taper™ (0.0070 significantly Hyflex™ (p<0.05). Conclusion: WaveOne™ instruments produced

Introduction: The main goal of the successful endodontics is the complete sterilization of the root canal space. During preparation, irrigants and debris such as bacteria, dentin fillings and necrotic debris may be extruded into the periradicular region leading to periapical inflammation and postoperative flare-ups. Several instrument designs and irrigation techniques have been developed to pre...
متن کاملComparative evaluation of apically extruded debris during root canal instrumentation using two Ni-Ti single file rotary systems: An in vitro study
BACKGROUND Apical extrusion of debris during instrumentation is detrimental to the patient. AIM The aim of this study was to evaluate the apical extrusion of debris during root canal instrumentation using two single file rotary Ni-Ti systems. MATERIALS AND METHODS Thirty freshly extracted mandibular premolars with straight roots were sterilized and divided into two groups instrumented using...
متن کاملEvaluation of the amount of apically extruded debris during retreatment of root canals filled by different obturation techniques.
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the amount of apically extruded debris during retreatment (with or without solvent) of root canals filled by two obturation techniques. MATERIALS AND METHODS Forty-eight root canals were prepared using ProTaper Universal F3 and filled with Gutta-percha and AH 26 sealer using single cone or lateral condensation techniques. The root canal fillings were removed using ProTap...
متن کاملEvaluation of Apically Extruded Debris during Root Canal Retreatment Using ProTaper Next and Reciproc in Severely Curved Canals
INTRODUCTION To compare the apical extrusion of debris produced during root obturating material removal from severely curved root canals using either Reciproc (REC) or ProTaper Next (PTN) systems. METHODS AND MATERIALS Twenty-six mesial canals of lower molars were instrumented, filled and allocated into two groups (n=13). Micro-computed tomographic images were performed to determine the root ...
